Kruger park Game Drive from the Phabeni gate:
The Phabeni gate is only 15km from the Hazyview game lodge and is very nice entry and exit point for visiting the Kruger National Park.
Kruger park Game Drives, Bush Walks & Safaris :
Morning, afternoon, full day and Sundowner safaris on open Game Viewing Land Rovers, Bush Walks and African Night Experiences into the Kruger National Park. Go off-road on dirt tracks and footpaths into the African wilderness!
Day Safari :
Get pick-up from your lodge/hotel. Morning safaris departs at opening time and finish at 12:00. Afternoon safaris begin at 13:00 and finish at gate closing time. Full day safaris are from gate opening time until 16:00. Optional breakfast and lunch menu available.
Experience the adrenaline surge! Bush walks take you into the home of Africa's Big Five -- on their terms and under the watchful eyes of armed rangers. We collect you in the early hours of the morning or mid-afternoon, and take you for a 3 hour walk in the wilderness, where your guide will share his knowledge of the bush and animals with you.
Kruger Park sunset safari :
We collect you in Hazyview and take you to the Kruger National Park, where you transfer onto the KNP 4x4 open safari vehicles. In the company of a National Parks ranger, your safari begins with a beautiful African sunset. As night falls, we turn on the spotlight and go in search of some of Africa's most unusual nocturnal animals.
Please note! This is a short late afternoon/evening safari, operated by the Kruger National Park, regret no children under 8 yrs allowed on Open Vehicles in the KNP.
Sabi Sands Sunrise safari :
We collect you at approx. 5am (depending on the season)and transfer to the famous Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. After the game drive, a hearty breakfast is served at the private lodge on the deck overlooking the Sand River, where animals may be spotted in the riverbed. After breakfast another drive through the bush on our return to the drop-off point.
Sabi Sands Night Drive :
We collect you and will transfer to the famous Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, a 65 000 hectare wildlife sanctuary which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park, where we board a 4x4 open safari vehicle and head off into the bush within the concession for game viewing.
As the light dims, we stop for a sundowner and snacks in the bush, then carry on driving with spotlights, looking for nocturnal animals. We drive back to the lodge, looking for nocturnal animals, where we enjoy a typical South African Bush dinner around the camp fire. We return to Hazyview by approx 22h00. (Cash bar (regret no credit card facilities), drinks at dinner not included) transfer to/from Hazyview.
